Free searchable UK parking map application for Android phones and tablets that shows where you can park on streets and where you can't. The map is fully searchable, either by text search or by holding down your finger on the map to bring up a new radius of parking restrictions.Currently displays on-street parking restrictions in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Poole, Brighton, Portsmouth, Carlisle, St Helens, Chelmsford, Lewes District, Winchester, Southend, Pembrokeshire, Norfolk and parts of Kent (more of the UK to follow) plus 20,000+ fee charging Council and private car parks across the UK.Our Free Parking Map displays both street restriction details and fee charging car parks on the map. The app helps gives you the information and choice of whether you want to pay to park in a local car park at your destination or find a local road that may be free of parking restrictions.Free Parking Map UK includes the ability to:• Show mapped restrictions up to 1.25 miles in diameter• Filter the restrictions for clear 'green' roads only where there is free parking• Choose a suitable road and navigate to it using Google Maps satellite navigation.Key to the Pins Displayed On The MapRed Pins On street parking restrictions such as 'no waiting at any time' stating no parking at any time on sections or whole of the road. In UK these are displayed as double yellow lines. Red pins are streets that have large sections of the road restricted for parking. Normally found in town centres, football stadiums or train stations.Amber (Yellow) PinsOn street parking restrictions stating parking is available subject to restrictions on sections or the whole road. For yellow pins they can be sections of the street where you can park at off-peak times. Example; "No Waiting Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm" (single yellow line). In this example, outside of these times the road does not have restrictions and you can park there.Amber (Yellow) pins can also represent small sections of the road that have 24 hour restrictions such as double yellow lines but they are on small sections of the road, for instance at junctions or zebra crossings. The rest of the street is parkable but the yellow pins are displayed for guidance.Green PinsNo Parking Restriction identified. However restrictions may apply or road conditions may be unsuitable for parking. User discretion requiredBlue PinsPublic car parks as supplied by the Transport Direct Journey Planner. Other car parks may be available.
